Thumbnails of the most recent uploads to the hilighted gallery in that currently empty white space on the hover menus. *nods* That would be awesome.
Yay or nay?
Went specifically to the DX widgets gallery and clicked on the first item. From there, I clicked on "Next" to see the next widget. It took me to a wallpaper, and a few clicks later a bootskin. Clicking on "Return to List" took me to the All Last Updated gallery.

And now we come to the very last edition of I Love DesktopX. I have to thank all of you who’ve read, commented, and featured this series of articles, because I just wouldn’t keep doing it without you guys support. This being the biggest month for the holidays, below I’ve decided to feature seasonal skins from the past month. But if you’re not feeling the Christmas cheer yet, we’ve also got 3 non-seasonal skins for you to deck the halls with. ...
It’s time for another edition of I Love DesktopX, showcasing the outstanding DX skins from the month of October. But this time I thought I’d break up the monotony and ask a fellow DX user what his favorite skins were in the past month. I have to say I pretty much agree with all of them. Who is this mystery DXer, you ask? None other than Wizard1956, who has been a positive and supportive presence in the skinning community at large. So, I’d like to thank him for ...
What an exciting month in DX skins! Oodles of good stuff came out last month. Alas, I can’t feature them all. So, have a look through the galleries and you’ll be sure to find something you like. Not sure if this is the right category.
I was wondering if there were any way to implement a new feature on WC that kept a log of each time you updated your skin (not description edits.) I'm particularly thinking of DX, but this might apply elsewhere. The reason would be to facilitate a component, or what have you, in DX that can automatically check your WC skin updates page to see if the skin has been updated, and then alerts the end-user that a newer version exists, so they can redownl...

Here we are on our sixth edition of ILDX and halfway through the year. As promised, this issue we’ve got another Community Spotlight: Master Vad_M, generally known as the DX Coding King. And if I’ve learned anything from this interview it’s that hard work, persistence, and a penchant to learn really do pay off.
In an effort to keep the reading time down, Tips and Tricks is on hiatus until next month.
But first, the picks!

Another month has passed and so I bring you another edition of "I Love DesktopX." Community Spotlight is coming up next month, and this time I thought I'd include a few questions from you guys. Our interviewee is none other than Master Vad_M! So, you've got all month to come up with some good questions for him on DesktopX and the world of widget-making, and get them to me.
On to the picks!

If so, how many shortcuts do you currently have and how many of those do you really use frequently?
This is just a shot in the dark but is there any way to save the user's settings, so that when they shutdown and startup their computer the gadget shows up exactly as they left it? I mean, color changes, icon arrangements, any and every change they made. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
My object has 2 states. There's a different picture for each state. How do I remotely change the picture for each state keeping in mind that each state has a different picture assigned to it.I have tried:DesktopX.Object("myob").State("state1").Picture = "mypic.png"DesktopX.Object("myob").State("state2").Picture = "mypic2.png"but that did not work.Am I missing something? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
